Death Haiku

Today’s Daily Create was to write a serious poem from the point of view of someone who is going to die and knows it, preferably in the form of a Haiku. A Haiku is a three line poem with alternating lines of five syllables, seven syllables, and five syllables.

I lay here mind numb,

My body hurts eyes blurry,

darkness comes I’m gone.
